SpanaFlight Aviation recently added the Olympia Regional Airport as their fourth flight school location.

The Port of Olympia and Swire Infrastructure Inc. DBA Swire Coca-Cola USA have entered into a ground lease for approximately 95 acres of property located on the southeast corner of the airport.  More information.

Airport Overview

The Olympia Regional Airport is home to aircraft service operations, private and Port-owned hangars, and state and corporate aviation facilities. The airport provides tower-controlled and full instrument-approach access for a variety of recreational, commercial and corporate users.

Two runways, one 5,501 feet and the other 4,157 feet, give corporate and private aircraft convenient access into southern Puget Sound. The airport’s location, adjacent to the NewMarket Industrial Campus with close proximity to Interstate 5 and the state capitol, allows businesses to service both private and government clients.

Airport Development Areas

Airport land use development areas are defined in the Port of Olympia’s Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements (CSHI) and depicted on the Airport and New Market Industrial Campus Properties map shown on page 8 of the CSHI. 

Cleanwater Center Overview

The vision for this district is a vibrant streetscape with pedestrian access to retail and professional services having a large employment base. Its location is intended to encourage growth toward a more concentrated, pedestrian-friendly and transit supportive area in Tumwater.

Located in the City of Tumwater’s emerging Town Center, this urban commercial corridor is home to many Washington state government agency headquarters, regional offices and education centers. The Port and the City collaborated in creating this district which includes frontage properties along Tumwater Boulevard and Capital Boulevard.

NewMarket Industrial Campus Overview

The vision for the NewMarket Industrial Campus (NMIC) is a cluster of diverse real estate uses in a contemporary northwest setting.
